Beverly Russell Consulting was organized as an independent consulting business, based in Desoto, Texas. The company provides customized training, professional development, parent education seminars, private consulting and document development for businesses, organizations and educational institutions. The company offers clients quality consulting services including a variety of  innovative training programs highlighting the importance of  achievement and relationship building at the office, at school and at home.

Beverly Russell is the founder and owner of Beverly Russell Consulting. She, along with a staff of professionals, is committed to helping others by strengthening inter-personal and professional skills.

Beverly Russell has worked as a teacher, and counselor for over twenty years with the Dallas Independent School District.  As a teacher, she taught choral music in the public schools and also taught high school English.  For nine years, she worked as a guidance counselor providing individual and group counseling and guidance services for students at the secondary level.  Later working as a Counseling Specialist for the Dallas Independent School District, she supervised the guidance counselors at the elementary, middle and high school level.  She planned and provided staff development and provided technical assistance to counselors.  Beverly served as co-evaluator of counselors and consulted with school principals on issues related to counseling services.  Using her skills at writing and editing, she developed, designed and edited several publications for the Counseling Department and the District.

Her education includes a  Bachelor of Arts degree in music and English, a Masters of Education degree, and certifications in supervision, counseling and guidance and administration.  Post-graduate work includes training in Character Education, Parenting with Love and Logic, and Solution-Focused Brief Counseling.

Beverly's professional affiliations include:  The Texas Staff Development Council, The Texas Counseling Association, The American School Counselors Association, and the Association of Supervision and Development.  She has served on the Texas Education Agency Counselor Certification Committee and the Texas Education Agency Competency Review Committee.

Mother of two adult children, she is a devoted parent and active community member.  Beverly serves in the music ministry, The Women In Christ Fellowship and the singles ministry in her church.  In recognition of her community service, she was awarded the Community Service Award in 2004 by the members of her church.
