“What happened to my sweet, obedient child?”

parenting shift. The parenting techniques
that worked with children simply do not work
with teens! Parents will leave this class
with a greater understanding of the teenage
world and the parent/teen relationship.
Getting In Touch With Your Teen
My child used
to tell me everything and now we barely
talk! This class helps parents improve
communication with teenagers by answering
such questions as: How can I get my silent
teen to talk? Why is my teen so secretive?
Why is it that my teen and I disagree on
everything?
Rudeness
and Rebellion in Teens
More than anything else, parents complain
about teenagers being rude and rebellious.
In this class, parents will learn the
underlying causes of teenage rebellion and
how to deal with rude and rebellious
behavior without getting angry and “losing
it”.
